USA Hockey begins at the rink

Monday January 5th was the big kick off night for the 2009 USA Hockey. After a pre season gear event at the rink the young kids of the Methow Valley hit the ice for a spirited first practice. The program is seeing some growth this year with many new kids looking to learn how to skate and become hockey players, we also have a great number of new volunteer coaches helping out this season which made for a nicely organized practice session.
